Andretti Autosport announced today that US Concrete have signed a new multi-year contract extension with the team in the Verizon IndyCar Series which will see the company serve as primary sponsor to Marco Andretti’s No.98 Honda for seven races each year including the Indianapolis 500.
Speaking about the contract extension, team owner and CEO Michael Andretti commented saying:
“It’s great to be able to announce this extension for 2019 and beyond. “Our companies share many values, and both serve as leaders in our industries. We’ve built a great foundation over the last year and are proud to continue to represent U.S. Concrete both on and off the racetrack.”
Bill Sandbrook, chairman, president and CEO of US Concrete who began their partnership with Andretti Autosport in 2018 commented on the news saying:
“We truly value our relationship with Marco and Andretti Autosport.“The ability to team up with a world class driver, team and organization who share our commitment to safety, operational excellence and winning, provides us a unique value enhancing partnership – unparalleled in our industry.”
Marco Andretti who goes into this weekend’s ABC Supply 500 at Pocono Raceway, his home race seeking his 100th Verizon IndyCar Series top ten finish commented on the news saying:
We’re really excited about the extended support from U.S. Concrete.“We’ve gotten to know their team really well and they fit in perfectly with the Andretti family of partners. I’m looking forward to continuing my IndyCar journey and am really hoping this next year is the one with an Indy 500 win, along with many others.
Andretti Autosport have also confirmed today that Ryan Hunter Reay in the No.28 DHL Honda, Alexander Rossi in the No.27 NAPA Auto Parts Honda and Zach Veach in the No.26 Group 1001 Honda will all remain with the team for the 2019 IndyCar Series season.
