Ed Carpenter Racing’s Rinus VeeKay was the fastest driver here at Barber Motorsports Park on Saturday morning with a fastest time of 01:06.5463s ending the session just ahead of Juncos Hollinger Racing’s Romain Grosjean who set a fastest time of 01:06.5819s while Scott McLaughlin made it a Chevrolet 1,2,3.

It was a great session for Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing’s Graham Rahal and Christian Lundgaard as they finished fourth and fifth place, respectively, just ahead of Pato O’Ward and Will Power.

Alex Palou was 8th fastest, just ahead of Josef Newgarden, while Marcus Armstrong rounded out the top ten for Chip Ganassi Racing with a time of 01:06.8590s.

Alexander Rossi was 11th, just ahead of Long Beach winner and current championship leader Scott Dixon in the No.9 PNC Bank Chip Ganassi Racing Honda.

Agustin Canapino had a solid day, finishing 13th, just ahead of Colton Herta and Christian Rasmussen. At the same time, Santino Ferrucci, who said the car was undrivable this afternoon, was 16th, having been 11th on Friday.

Marcus Ericsson was 17th, just ahead of Kyle Kirkwood and Tom Blomqvist, while Linus Lundqvist rounded out the top 20. Jack Harvey was 21st, just ahead of Kyffin Simpson, who went off track in a big way but didn’t damage the No.4 Journie Rewards Chip Ganassi Racing Honda. Theo Pourchaire was 23rd, just ahead of fellow rookies Luca Ghiotto and Felix Rosenqvist.

Sting Ray Robb and Pietro Fittipaldi rounded out the order. Next up is qualifying later today.
