Rinus VeeKay in the No.20 ECR Chevrolet was fastest on race day warmup at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca ahead of today’s Firestone Grand Prix of Monterey, setting a time of 01:08/4096s, ending the 30-minute session just ahead of Chip Ganassi Racing’s Scott Dixon in the No.9 PNC Bank Honda, who set a time of 01:08.4516s.

It was a great session for Agustin Canapino and Juncos Hollinger Racing who ended the morning in third place with a time of 01:08.5314s. Linus Lindqvist in the No.8 American Legion Chip Ganassi Racing Honda was fourth fastest at 01:08.6070s.

Colton Herta was fifth fastest for Andretti Global with a time of 01:08.6449s. Kyle Kirkwood ended the morning in sixth place just ahead of Marcus Armstrong and pole-sitter Alex Palou in the No.10 DHL Chip Ganassi Racing Honda was eighth with a time of 01:08.8313s just ahead of Romain Grosjean while Santino Ferrucci rounded out the top ten for AJ Foyt Racing.

Christian Lundgaard was 11th for Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing with a time of 01:08..9791s just ahead of Alexander Rossi and Pato O’Ward while Kyffin Simpson was 14th just ahead of Josef Newgarden who had a time of 01:09.2960s.

Pietro Fittipaldi was 16th just ahead of Marcus Armstrong and Graham Rahal. Scott McLaughlin was 19th while Jack Harvey rounded out the top twenty. Christian Rasmussen was 21st just ahead of Nolan Siegel. Sting Ray was 22nd after bringing out the red flag after spinning and hitting the wall. Will Power was 24th just ahead of David Malukas and Felix Rosenqvist. Luca Ghiotto rounded out the order in 27th place.
