Red Bull Racing’s Max Verstappen ended the final practice session ahead of qualifying for Sunday’s Mexican Grand Prix fastest.

The Dutch teenager set a time of 01:19.137s and ended the morning just ahead of reigning world champion Lewis Hamilton with Daniel Ricciardo in the second Red Bull ending the session in third place.

Championship leader Nico Rosberg ended the morning in fourth place just ahead of Williams Martini Racing’s Valtteri Bottas who ended the session 0.674s behind Verstappen. The Ferrari duo of Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen ended the session in sixth and seventh place respectively.

Felipe Massa in the second Williams was eighth fastest just ahead of Force India’s Nico Hulkenberg while Carlos Sainz rounded out the top ten for Toro Rosso.

Home favourite Sergio ‘Checo’ Perez ended the session in 11th place for Force India just ahead of Toro Rosso’s Daniil Kvyat and McLaren Honda’s Fernando Alonso. Jolyon Palmer did a great job for Renault ending the session in 14th place just ahead of fellow Brit Jenson Button in his McLaren Honda. Sauber’s Marcus Ericsson was 16th fastest just ahead of Esteban Gutierrez.

Kevin Magnussen was 18th for Renault just ahead of the Haas F1 Team’s Romain Grosjean for the Haas F1 Team.

Pascal Werhlein was 20th just ahead of Esteban Ocon while Felipe Nasr rounded out the order for the Sauber F1 Team.
