Red Bull Racing’s Max Verstappen had been fined €50,000 for breaching Parc Ferme regulations after the Dutch driver touched the rear wing of Lewis Hamilton’s rear wing following qualifying for Saturday’s Sprint race at the Interlagos circuit.

Verstappen and Red Bull Racing Managing Director Jonathan Wheatley were summoned to the steward on Friday evening however the decision came on Saturday ahead of the Sprint race.

The FIA has not yet ruled on Lewis Hamilton’s DRS infraction.
