Aston Martin Red Bull Racing’s Max Verstappen took a lights to flag victory in the season ending Abu Dhabi Grand Prix at the Yas Marina circuit.
The Dutch driver came home ahead of Mercedes Valtteri Bottas and Lewis Hamilton.
Aston Martin Red Bull Racing’s Alex Albon came home in fourth just ahead of Lando Norris’ McLaren with Carlos Sainz in 6th however the Spaniard is expected to receive a penalty for going unnecessarily slowly in the pitlane.
The penalty will not impact McLaren as the end the year as best of the rest in the Constructors championship behind Mercedes and Red Bull Racing.
Daniel Ricciardo ended the day in seventh place just ahead of Pierre Gasly and Esteban Ocon ended the season in ninth place for Renault. Lance Stroll rounded out the top ten.
Daniil Kvyat came home in eleventh place just ahead of Kimi Raikkonen and Charles Leclerc.
Sebastian Vettel ended his career with Ferrari in 14th just ahead of George Russell and Antonio Giovinazzi.
Nicholas Latifi was 17th just ahead of Kevin Magnussen and Pietro Fittipaldi.
Sergio Perez was the only retirement due to an engine issue bringing out the only safety car of the race.
The 2021 season gets underway in 96 days.
