Scuderia Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel ended the final practice session ahead of qualifying for the United States Grand Prix at the Circuit Of The Americas in Austin Texas as the fastest driver having set a fastest time of 01:33.797s.
The German goes into qualifying with a three place grid penalty. Kimi Raikkonen in the second Ferrari was second fastest with Lewis Hamilton in third place.
Valtteri Bottas in second Mercedes was fourth fastest just ahead of Aston Martin Red Bull Racing’s Max Verstappen and Daniel Ricciardo.
Charles Leclerc was seventh fastest for the Alfa Romeo Sauber F1 Team just ahead of Sergio Perez and Carlos Sainz while the Haas F1 Team’s Romain Grosjean rounded out the top ten.
Esteban Ocon was 11th just ahead of Kevin Magnussen and the Renault Sport F1 Team’s Nico Hulkenberg.
Marcus Ericsson was 14th for the Alfa Romeo Sauber F1 Team ending the session just ahead of Williams Martini Racing’s Lance Stroll. Sergey Sirotkin in the second Williams was 16th.
Pierre Gasly was 17th fastest just ahead of McLaren’s Stoffel Vandoorne while Brendan Hartley was 19th. Fernando Alonso rounded out the order in 20th place.
