The ABB Formula E Series announced on Friday that season five of the all-electric racing series will be broadcast on Virgin Media Television in the Republic of Ireland.

All races will be shown live of Virgin Media Sport in Ireland, Virgin Media Ireland’s free to air channels will also show highlights and in-depth analysis of season five of the ABB FIA Formula E Championship.

Speaking about the news, Ali Russell, Media and Business Development Director for the ABB FIA Formula E Championship said:

I’m extremely pleased to continue showing the jubilance and jeopardy of the ABB FIA Formula E Championship to fans in Ireland with Virgin Media Television. Ahead of season five and the introduction of the new cars, new drivers and a new race format – we’ll once again be bringing live action and highlights from each E-Prix on the new Virgin Media Sport channel and across the recently re-branded free-to-air platforms.”
