Arrow McLaren Team Principal Gavin Ward says that the team are in a great spot heading into Fast 12 qualifying on Sunday for next weekend’s 108th running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge.
Speaking to Paddock Eye on pit-road during Fast 12 practice on Sunday morning, Ward said the team are in a great spot with three of their drivers in the Fast 12 including rookie and NASCAR star Kyle Larson.
Alexander Rossi in the No.7 VELO Chevrolet, Pato O’Ward in the No.5 Arrow McLaren Chevrolet and Kyle Larson in the No.17 HendrickCars.com Chevrolet are all in the Fast 12 shootout.
Speaking about Kyle Larson, Ward just said that the NASCAR star is freaking awesome.
