AJ Foyt Racing president Larry Foyt said that the team have done a really good job so far this weekend and he has been impressed with Mathues Matt Leist’s performance so fat this weekend.

Foyt said that the team had a strong test here in Mid-Ohio a couple of weeks ago and they are delighted to have long term engineer Don Halliday on the stand this weekend to assist the team as they aim to right the ship following a number of difficult races for the team.

Speaking to the IndyCar Radio network during the final practice session ahead of qualifying for Sunday’s Honda Indy 200 at the Mid-Ohio sportscar course.

When asked about the driver situation with their team, Larry Foyt said that the team’s two drivers have contract up at the end of the season and they are speaking with the pair as well as a number of other drivers. Tony Kanaan gave the team something to build on last weekend as he came home in 10th place.
