Andretti Autosport’s COO Rob Edwards says that the team head into this weekend’s Honda Indy 200 at the Mid-Ohio Sportscar course aiming to continue their momentum from the Sonsio Grand Prix at Road America where Alexander Rossi finished on the podium.
Speaking ahead of the race he said:
“Off to the track in the middle of Ohio. It’s a race that has been good to us over the last few years and we’re looking for more of the same to build on our momentum from Road America last time out.”
Alexander Rossi in the No.27 NAPA Auto Parts AutoNation Honda is looking forward to the race this weekend saying:
“Super excited to get back on track at Mid-Ohio this weekend. This break has been nice but it’s time to get back to work at a place where we’ve always been strong. I’m looking forward to seeing the fans and putting on a show for them.”
Colton Herta in the No.26 Gainbridge Honda goes into the race here having won at the event in 2020 and speaking ahead of the race he commented saying:
“Really excited to get back in my Gainbridge INDYCAR for the Honda Indy 200. We’ve had success here as a team before, so I can’t wait to get back and fight for the win.”
Romain Grosjean in the No.28 ForeverLawn DHL Honda is looking forward to this weekend’s race saying:
“Mid-Ohio is like a mini roller coaster, I love the feeling and the elevation around the track. The tarmac is very challenging and getting the tires up to temperature is always a challenge but also offers some good chances in the race. I’m looking forward to getting there and spending another 4th of July weekend racing.”
Devlin DeFrancesco is looking forward to this weekend’s race in the No.29 PowerTap Honda saying:
“I’m looking forward to Mid-Ohio. It’s an enjoyable track. At Road America, we were again on the cusp of a transferring in qualifying. I’m still dedicated to earning that next spot. I’m excited to get on track in Ohio and see what we can put together.”
