Meyer Shank Racing team co-owner Mike Shank says that the team is working to be better and speaking to NBC Sport during practice 2 for the GMR Grand Prix of Indianapolis on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course, Shank said that he would rate their season as a C+ right now.

Shank said that the team which is now a two-car program is not where they want to be right now but that they are working towards that goal and that starts with a strong Indianapolis 500 run in two weeks’ time.

Meyer Shank Racing have Helio Castroneves and Simon Pagenaud in their cars who have both run extremely well at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway with Castroneves going for his fifth Indianapolis 500 win this month,

Simon Pagenaud has a great record here at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway having won the GMR Grand Prix of Indianapolis three times and the 2019 Indianapolis 500.
