KVSH Racing’s Sebastien Bourdais believes that the No.11 Team Hydroxycut Chevrolet can achieve a pretty good result at the Iowa Corn 300 at Iowa Speedway this weekend.
The Frenchman heads into the race in 14th place in the Verizon IndyCar Series points standings having finished the Kohler Grand Prix at the Road America circuit last time out in 18th place and speaking ahead of the race in Iowa he commented by saying:
We made progress with our short oval setup at the Iowa test last week, but the Hydroxycut machine still isn’t 100% comfortable and the track’s become trickier than ever. They did a pretty nice job in Turns 1 and 2, shaving some of the bumps, but they are still popping up and now there are bumps in Turns 3 and 4 where they had to patch the surface, so the grip is very uneven. We had a tough qualifying session in Iowa last year with a spin, but came back from last place to finish in the top-10. Providing I don’t make any mistake in qualify, I think we can have a pretty good result
