Meyer Shank Racing’s Jack Harvey who drives the No.60 AutoNation Sirius XM Honda in the NTT IndyCar Series said that he felt that the team had a pretty solid first day as Spring Training got underway at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin Texas on Tuesday.

Harvey returns to Meyer Shank Racing for an increased NTT IndyCar Series programme of ten races this year starting with the season opening Firestone Grand Prix of St Petersburg.

Harvey ended the opening day in 17th place and speaking following the action he said:

I think we had a pretty solid first day in terms of learning different things. Hopefully throughout the test we just keep learning and keep getting better. If we leave knowing what we can do better then I would say that’s a successful test.
