Meyer Shank Racing’s Jack Harvey in the No.60 AutoNation Sirius XM Honda ended Fastest Friday in 16th place with a speed of 230.840MPH and speaking following the action he said that the team either have a Fast Nine car or they will be in the top 15 for the starting order for the 105th running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge next Sunday.
Speaking following the action he said:
I think that if we put together the very best that we can do, I feel like we may just make the Fast Nine. If we don’t do the very best that we can do, I still think that we have a top 15 car. It’s going to be snug for us a bit – we didn’t make the step today that I thought we might have. I think we can be looking forward to our best starting position in Indy so far but we just want it to be as high up as possible.”
Helio Castroneves in the No.06 AutoNation Sirius XM Honda was happy with the car and speaking following the action, the three-time Indianapolis 500 winner said:
“I think at the end of the day the No. 06 AutoNation / SiriusXM car was in a happy zone. We can hopefully qualify in the Fast Nine and then we can get a little but more crazy but as of right now we are limited in the things that we can do. But I think our chances are looking good for tomorrow.
