Meyer Shank Racing’s Jack Harvey in the No.60 AutoNation Sirius XM Honda says that the team have speed heading into this weekend’s double header Harvest Grand Prix on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course and that this is confidence inspiring for the crew.
Speaking ahead of the races this weekend Harvey said:
I think it’s really cool that IndyCar is bringing back a race with some history to it,” said Harvey. “IMS is of course such a special track that we get to race at, and this year we are lucky to be here three times in one year. We’ve had a good record on the Road Course in the past. Unfortunately earlier this year we had a strong run but a yellow flag once again put us back in the field. Going into the weekend knowing that we have the speed is confidence inspiring, so myself and the guys are ready to get a good result.”
The team have set their sights on a podium finish and Mike Shank says:
“We really need to focus on getting top ten results these last three races,” said Mike Shank. “Jack and the team have been doing a great job this season, we just have had some unlucky moments which has put us back. Going back to IMS where Jack has done well is a great thing. It’s never too late to turn our season around and I think we can make that happen this weekend.”
