Dale Coyne Racing with Rick Ware Racing’s Romain Grosjean in the No.51 Nurtec Honda says that the team we just have to see how the car evolves over the course of the weekend at the REV Group Grand Prix of Road America despite topping the timesheets in the opening practice session ahead of Sunday’s race.
The Frenchman set the fastest time of 01:47.6781s and speaking to Paddock Eye following the action on Friday, Grosjean said:
Well, I don’t like topping free practice. I don’t know. As I say, we were quite good at the beginning, then we got an extra set of tires. The track was fairly different from when we came testing. We just need to see how it evolves through the weekend.
Sadly Ed Jones had an issue in his car so he didn’t run through practice. Cody is learning INDYCAR. I was a bit on my own.
