Harding Racing had a great second day of practice at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Tuesday in preparation for their race debut in the 101st running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by PennGrade Motor Oil.
Gabby Chaves in the No. 88 Chevrolet ended the second day in third place overall having completed 87 laps.
Speaking following the on track action, team manager Larry Curry commented by saying:
Harding Racing took a great step forward today, the team jelled, Gabby did a great job and we’re really happy.
Chaves commented by saying:
We’re very happy with the comeback we’ve made from yesterday when we got only six laps of running. To come out today, put in the amount of work that we did and get a little pick me up at the end of the day is definitely a good accomplishment. The Harding Racing crew did a hell of a job. This run doesn’t mean as much as race day, that’s what will count, but it’s a good sign of our potential going forward.
