McLaren Racing CEO Zak says that the team made some stupid mistakes when they brought Fernando Alonso back to the fiasco that was the 103rd running of the Indianapolis 500  presented by Gainbridge which they failed to qualify for.

In 2020 McLaren Racing will do things differently as they have entered the NTT IndyCar Series full time with Chevrolet having partnered with with Sam Schmidt and Ric Peterson to form a new team in Arrow McLaren SP.

The team will field two new drivers with Patricio O’Ward and Oliver Askew driving for the team. Speaking at Autosport International on Saturday, Brown said that he looks to the model of Roger Penske who has has been extremely successful in business and in racing.

Brown has said previously that he is delighted with the fact that the Penske Corporation have purchased the NTT IndyCar Series, IMS Productions and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
