KVSH Racing’s Sebastien Bourdais, driver on the No.11 Team Hydroxycut Chevrolet goes into this weekend’s IndyCar Grand Prix at Watkins Glen following a tenth place finish last time out in the Firestone 600 at Texas Motor Speedway.
Looking ahead to the race this weekend the Frenchman commented by saying:
The Hydroxycut-KVSH Racing team had a good test at Watkins Glen. We ended up in the top 3 but, obviously, track and weather conditions could be different. However, based on the test I think we should come off the transporter with a good baseline setup. We haven’t qualified well on the road courses this year because we’ve struggled with the red (alternate) tires. Hopefully we can improve in that area and start at the front of the grid. We’re down to the last two races of the season and if we are going to finish in the top 10 in the points, we have to have a good performance this weekend.
