AJ Foyt Racing’s Tony Kanaan in the No.14 ABC Supply Chevrolet says that the team still has plenty of work to do despite achieving their goal of a top ten finish in Saturday’s rain delayed Iowa Corn 300 at Iowa Speedway.
The Brazilian who started the race from 13th on the grid came home in 10th place and speaking following the race he said:
“We came here with a goal to finish in the top 10 and I think it was a good day for us despite a couple mistakes we made during the race. We still managed to finish in the top 10, so good day, good start. Still have a lot of work to do though.”
The top ten finish is the perfect foundation for the team to build on for the rest of the season and gives them momentum heading into this weekend’s Honda Indy 200 at the Mid-Ohio sportscar course.
