Ed Carpenter Racing team owner Ed Carpenter says he hopes the team is consistent during the 2023 NTT IndyCar Series season.
Speaking to Paddock Eye during the second media content day in Palm Springs, California, on Wednesday, Carpenter said that Rinus VeeKay nearly won at Barber Motorsports Park, and he hopes the team will be in a position to challenge for wins and top-five finishes throughout the season to come.
Carpenter will again compete in oval races in 2023, with his first race coming on April 2.
Carpenter also confirmed during his availability that he will not be partnering with Paretta Autosport this season, like in 2022, as the date to finalize things passed without any agreement. Instead, he wants to focus on this year and his partnership with BitNile.
