Team Penske’s Josef Newgarden in the No.2 Hitachi Chevrolet believes that it is going to be hard to overhaul the Honda-powered Andretti Autosport team in Sunday’s Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach as they have been extremely strong so far this weekend, particularly in qualifying with three cars in the top six.

Speaking to Paddock Eye following the session, Newgarden, who starts the race from second place following a time of 01:05.7550s said that the team will just try to improve the car overnight ahead of race day warm-up and do everything they can to put their best foot forward and see where they end up.
