Chip Ganassi Racing’s Jimmie Johnson, driver of the No.48 Carvana Honda says he is not sure whether or not he will return to compete in the Indianapolis 500 in 2023 or not.
The seven-time Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series champion is currently competing full-time in the NTT IndyCar Series with Chip Ganassi Racing alongside defending series champion Alex Palou, six-time NTT IndyCar Series champion Scott Dixon and defending Indianapolis 500 winner Marcus Ericsson.
Speaking during the latest episode of Reinventing The Wheel, the seven-time Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series champion says that he will see what happens next year as to whether or not he will be back next season.
It will be interesting to see what happens next season as Tony Kanaan who finished third in the Indianapolis 500 last month has confirmed that this year’s race was most likely his last Indianapolis 500 appearance.
