Chip Ganassi Racing’s Scott Dixon says that the team are throwing the kitchen sink at the No.9 PNC Bank Honda for the remainder of today’s Spring Training test programme at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin Texas.

Dixon who has had a busy off season told NBC Sports Katie Hargitt that he is happy to be back in his IndyCar and that despite not getting much track time in the wet with the aeroscreen they are going to try and make the most of the rest of the test.

The Iceman said the team are going to make some set up changes to the car in terms of the engine and other areas to see where the end up at the conclusion of today’s test.

Dixon also said that their activity on track is pivotal given that they only one more day of testing at Sebring International Raceway in a few weeks before the season opening Firestone Grand Prix of St Petersburg which takes place from March 13 to 15.
