This time last year Verizon IndyCar Series driver James Hinchcliffe was lying in a hospital bed following an unimaginable crash during practice for the Indianapolis 500 and Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
The Canadian suffered sever injuries and was forced to sit out the remaining races of the 2015 Verizon IndyCar Series season.
Fast forward to 2016 and the Schmidt Peterson Motorsports driver is now back where he belongs and that is back behind the wheel of his No.5 Arrow Electronics Honda. The Mayor of HinchTown.
Hinchcliffe heads into this weekend’s qualifying for the 100th running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by PennGrade Motor Oil of the back of his first podium finish of the season when he finished in third place at the Angie’s List Grand Prix of Indianapolis.
