Harding Steinbrenner Racing entered into a partnership with Andretti Autosport for the 2020 NTT IndyCar Series season with Colton Herta driving the No.88 Capstone Harding Steinbrenner Andretti Autosport Honda following on from their successful technical partnership in 2019 which saw Colton Herta win the IndyCar Classic at the Circuit of the Americas as well the season ending Firestone Grand Prix of Monterey.

In 2020, Herta took victory in Mid-Ohio race 2 and finished the season in third place in the championship on 421 points. Colton Herta will take over the No.26 Gainbridge Honda for 2021 following the departure of Zach Veach from Andretti Autosport while Paddock Eye understands that James Hinchcliffe will return to full-time NTT IndyCar competition in 2021 driving the No.29 Genesys Honda.

It is not known what the plan for the No.88 Honda will be for 2021 but it is understood that Harding Steinbrenner Racing have left Andretti Autosport.
