The big surprise of Saturday was Robert Schwartzman of PREMA Racing, who not only made it on the grid for his first Indianapolis 500 but also got the opportunity to run for the pole as he made it into the Firestone Fast 12 later today. It will be interesting to see how the Chevrolet-powered team will do later today.
Chip Ganassi Racing has two very fast cars, Alex Palou and Scott Dixon, who are in the Fast 12. It was also a great session for David Malukas, who also got into the Fast 12. It will be interesting to see how AJ Foyt Racing’s driver gets on today.
What can Team Penske do in qualifying, as they have all three cars in the field for the Fast 12 which will drop down to the Firestone Fast Six later today?
