Arrow Schmidt Peterson Motorsports Robert Wickens says he was happy to be back in the NTT IndyCar Series paddock.
Wickens returned to the paddock for the first time since his accident at Pocono Raceway seven months ago for the 2019 season opening Firestone Grand Prix of St Petersburg last weekend.
Wickens spent the weekend on James Hinchcliffe’s stand and was involved in engineering meetings.
Speaking over the weekend, the Mayor of HinchTown said it was great to have Robbie back with the team and that was great to have his input over the weekend.
Wickens watched Hinch finish the season opener in sixth place while Marcus Ericsson was forced to retire from the race.
The result with the No.5 Arrow Electronics Honda gives the team a solid foundation to build on heading to round two of the season, the IndyCar Classic at the Circuit Of The Americas in Austin Texas next weekend.
