Scott Dixon driver of the No.9 PNC Bank Chip Ganassi Racing Honda heads into the 2025 NTT INDYCAR SERIES aiming to win not only his seventh series title but also his second Indianapolis 500 win.
The Iceman won the 2008 Indianapolis 500 and had been extremely successful at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway but has run into bad luck.
Dixon has won the pole for the Greatest Spectacle In Racing five times, just one behind the all-time record of Rick Mears.
In 2022, Dixon took pole and led the race but finished 21st after been penalized for speeding on pit-road.
Dixon will be hoping that he can challenge for victory in the Greatest Spectacle In Racing this year. Last season, the Iceman finished on the podium in third place.
Dixon has led a total of 677 laps in the Greatest Spectacle In Racing and will be hoping to add to that tally come May 25.
Chip Ganassi Racing will reveal Scott Dixon’s livery for 2025 on Wednesday.
