Juan Pablo Montoya who ended the opening Chevrolet Dual in Detroit Grand Prix on Saturday on the podium has told Paddock Eye that team mate Will Power who clashed with the Colombian during the race was:

Montoya who won the opening street race of the 2016 Verizon IndyCar Series season, the Firestone Grand Prix of St Petersberg started the Chevrolet Dual in Detroit race 1 in third place behind his Penske team mate’s Simon Pagenaud and Helio Castroneves.

Montoya went into detail about Will Power telling Paddock Eye:

He’s been having a tough season. He wasn’t in the first race. He couldn’t race. I think he’s been trying to catch up. I don’t know. To be honest, I was on cold tires.
