Williams Martini Racing’s Chief Technical Officer Paddy Lowe has confirmed that the team are exploring their options in relation to their 2018 driver line-up and that following his performance at the Hungarian Grand Prix, Paul Di Resta is being considered for a possible seat with the Grove based team.
Speaking about next season, Lowe said that the team are very open minded to what they will do with their driver line-up in 2018.
Lance Stroll is on a long term contract with Williams however what is uncertain is the future of Felipe Massa who initially signed just a one year contract with the Grove based outfit to return to the sport replacing Valtteri Bottas who joined Mercedes this season.
Paddock Eye understands that Massa is keen to remain with the Grove based outfit in 2018 so it will be interesting to what the team decide to do.
Williams currently occupy fifth place in the constructors championship.
