The Williams Martini Racing team confirmed on Wednesday that Felipe Massa will kick off their winter testing programme at the Barcelona Circuit Du Catalunya.

The Brazilian who returned to the Grove based outfit over the winter following a short retirement will drive the FW40 on Monday and Wednesday.

Formula One rookie Lance Stroll will drive the new car on Tuesday and Thursday.

For the second test in Barcelona from March 7-10, Lance Stroll will drive on the opening two days while Felipe Massa will finish the winter test programme on Wednesday and Thursday.

Williams will unveil their new car on Saturday 25 February.
