The Williams Racing Formula One team say they are deeply saddened following the sudden death of their former aerodynamicist Antonia Terzi who was killed in a car accident over the weekend.
Terzi worked on the Grove-based outfit’s famous walrus nose that appeared on the 2004 BMW-powered Williams FW26 which resulted in the team finishing the season in fourth place in the championship on 88 points.
The Williams team tweeted:
We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of our former colleague and chief aerodynamicist, Antonia Terzi.
