ROKiT Williams Racing deputy team principal Claire Williams remains the right person to lead the Grove based outfit.
Williams have endured a number of tough seasons in Formula One with many questioning Claire Williams and her ability to lead the team at the race track.
Sky Sports F1HD commentator and former Formula One driver Martin Brundle has suggested that Williams follows the lead of McLaren and employ someone like Andreas Seidl to run the team while Claire moves upstairs.
This however, would be wrong approach for the team to take.
Claire has been at the helm of the team alongside her dad and team principal Sir Frank William’s for a number of years and it was not long ago that the they had some great seasons coming home in third place in championship in both 2014 and 2015.
The team will come back stronger in 2020 and have a new driver with Nicholas Latifi joining George Russell this year.
The Canadian has been extremely successful in junior categories and Williams hope that their young line up with help them to move forward to where they should be.
Williams knows her team inside out and is certainly the right person to guide them back to the front.
For 2020, Williams have retained their partnership with ROKiT and are continuing with Mercedes Benz power and they will be hoping to bring the team forward.
Williams has confirmed that her team have a healthy strong budget for this season despite the rumours.
