Williams Martini Racing’s co-founder Sir Frank Williams has been released from hospital following treatment for pneumonia.

Speaking during their 2017 driver announcement at their Grove HQ on Thursday morning, Deputy Principal Claire Williams confirmed that Frank was released from hospital on Monday.

Williams said that the team were delighted to have Frank back and he is nearly to being the old Frank that we all know and love.

The 74 year old contracted pneumonia following the Italian Grand Prix in September and has been in hospital every since.
