The Williams Racing Team which was founded by Sir Frank Williams and Patrick Head in 1977 will celebrate its 750th Formula One Grand Prix race start next weekend as Formula One rolls into Monte Carlo. Since joining Formula One, the team has taken 114 race wins and 312 podium finishes.

The Grove-based outfit has won the Drivers championship seven times and the Constructors championship nine times.

In the build-up to the Monaco Grand Prix, the team will have special content to celebrate this milestone on their social media channels while 100 fans will get the opportunity to have their face on the Halop device of both George Russell and Nicholas Latifi over the course of the weekend.

Each team member will also have the race that they joined the team printed on their team shirts. Speaking about this milestone – Williams Racing CEO Jost Capito commented saying:

This milestone is about celebrating everyone that has been on this journey to 750 Grands Prix and will continue to be on this journey with us, as the team heads into a new era. We’re excited to share some of the incredible stories that have made the team what it is today and hear from supporters who have their own amazing tales of what Williams means to them.
