Head of Mercedes Benz Motorsport Toto Wolff and Mercedes non executive chairman Niki Lauda have had their contracts renewed up until the end of 2020.
Lauda joined Mercedes in 2012 and was instrumental is Lewis Hamilton’s move to the Silver Arrows.
Toto Wolff joined the team in January 2013 following a number of years involved with the Williams F1 Team.
The pair along with Paddy Lowe who recently left the team have played key roles in the success of the outfit who have dominated F1 since 2014 when the sport entered it’s current hybrid engine era.
The news of Wolff and Lauda’s contract extensions comes just days after it was confirmed that former Ferrari technical director James Allison has joined Mercedes as technical director.
