Meyer Shank Racing’s Jack Harvey who drives the No.60 AutoNation Sirius XM Honda in the NTT IndyCar Series  says that as a driver they have to be a smart as you can with the track time available.

The Honda powered teams were at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Monday to participate in a manufacturer test on the Speedway’s road course layout in preparation for the IndyCar Grand Prix which takes place from May 9 -11.

Harvey’s comments come after the morning session was interrupted due to rain with it too dry for wets but not wet enough for intermediate tires.

The drivers did manage to get plenty of laps in during the afternoon.
