DXDT Racing, which made its IMSA WeatherTech Sportscar Championship debut in 2025, continued to improve as it had an intense 12 Hours of Sebring over the weekend. Their drivers, Alec Udell, Charlie Eastwood, and Salih Yoluc, piloted the #36 SuCo Mobil 1 Corvette Z06 GT3.R.

The trio ran upfront throughout the race, culminating on lap 300, with the team taking the class lead going into the final hour of the race. The team finished the race in eighth place, with the drivers having mixed feelings about how the race panned out.

Speaking following the action, Alex Udell said:

I think we had a great car the whole race. I am gutted for the team to have an unfortunate mechanical issue so close to a podium finish. The last stints were enjoyable, I was able to get into a good rthym, and able to keep pushing forward. I am proud of the whole team and know we have a great result coming.

Charlie Eastwood said:

The team deserved so much more than P8. We had a great race, in the hunt for a podium in the final stint when unfortunately, a bolt sheared with three minutes to go to put us out of contention for a podium. We have to take the positives on the steps made from Daytona and hope for a good result at Watkins Glen.

Salih Yoluc commented on his race saying:

The team made a great improvement to the car after Daytona and the tests. It’s a shame how Sebring ended as we had a very strong race. Everyone involved deserved a great result, hopefully we will have three of them in the next three races! Watkins Glen cannot come soon enough!

DXDT Racing remained in Sebring for a test with Candian driver Robert Wickens, who will make his IMSA WeatherTech Sportscar Championship race debut with the team in a specially adapted Corvette at the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach next month.
