INDY NXT presented by Firestone frontrunning team Abel Motorsports will make their NTT INDYCAR SERIES debut later today at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
The team, owned by construction magnet, Bill Abel are aiming to qualify for their first Indianapolis 500 this weekend.
The team who were a last minute entry into the Greatest Spectacle In Racing have an engine agreement with Chevrolet and are hoping to give RC Enerson his Indianapolis 500 debut.
The big question is, can the team cause an upset like Juncos Hollinger Racing did a few years ago when they famously bumped Fernando Alonso out of the field for the race.
The team have brought in some experienced NTT INDYCAR SERIES personnel for the race so it will be a case of watch this space.
