Scott Dixon in the No.9 PNC Bank Chip Ganassi Racing Honda says that there is potential in his car after the team opted to change both his engine and gearbox on Saturday morning during the opening day of qualifying for the 108th running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge which takes place a week on Sunday.
Dixon said that the team’s chances of making the Fast 12 will improve as the conditions improve during the afternoon. The Iceman confirmed that he may go back out today, but he will wait and see what the team says.
