Defending Formula One world champion Lewis Hamilton has been handed a five place grid penalty for this weekend’s Brazilian Grand Prix at the Interlagos circuit.
The news means that the seven-time world champion will start five places back from where he ends Saturday’s sprint qualifying race in.
The Mercedes AMG PETRONAS F1 Team confirmed on Twitter that the team changed his Internal Combustion Engine (ICE).
