Dale Coyne Racing with HMD Motorsports says he wants to be consistent this season as he prepares for his sophomore season in the NTT IndyCar Series. The Illinois native goes into his second year in the series as the lead driver with Dale Coyne Racing with the addition of Sting Ray Robb as his rookie team-mate.
During the content day, Malukas said that after May, he began to click with the team regarding chemistry. It was amazing as he went to Detroit and scored a Fast Six appearance for the first time in his career.
Malukas says he wants to stay in the top ten realms and believes that there are five or six drivers always in contention, and he wants that to happen for Dale Coyne Racing.
Speaking about his new team-mate, Sting Ray Robb, Malukas said he sent him his onboards from St Pete from last season and told him this is what you don’t do. Malukas said that he wants to help Robb be consistent this season, and that is what he wants to be where the team is consistently fighting to be in the Firestone Fast Six.
Malukas also said during the content day that he hasn’t had seat time over the off-season and had nightmares that he forgot how to drive.
