Rahal’s teammates Jack Harvey and Christian Lundgaard made it into the Firestone Fast 6 and the NTT P1 shootout.
Asked following his run if the run by the team is a prelude to what the team can expect for the Indianapolis 500 in two weeks time, Rahal told NBC’s Kevin Lee that it has no bearing on the Indy 500 but a big confidence boast for the entire team.
