Andretti Global’s Kyle Kirkwood in the No.27 AutoNation Honda was the fastest in Saturday morning’s second practice session at the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach. The CalifoFloridarnian native set the fastest time of 01:06.4731s, ending up just ahead of his teammate Colton Herta and Christian Lundgaard in the No.45 Hy-Vee Honda.

Felix Rosenqvist in the No.60 AutoNation Sirius XM Meyer Shank Racing Honda was fourth fastest with a time of 01:06.6518s, ending up just ahead of Team Penske’s Scott McLaughlin, while defending series champion Alex Palou was sixth.

It was an excellent session for Juncos Hollinger Racing as Romain Grosjean was seventh, just ahead of Will Power, who brought out the red flag late after hitting the wall. Agustin Canapino was ninth, while Arrow McLaren’s Alexander Rossi rounded out the top ten.

Chip Ganassi Racing’s Marcus Armstrong in the No.11 Ridgeline Lubricants Honda was 11th with a time of 01:07.0451s, just ahead of his teammate Scott Dixon in the No.9 PNC Bank Honda, who set a time of 01:07.0713s. Championship leader Josef Newgarden was 13th, just ahead of Graham Rahal, while Rinus VeeKay was 15th, just ahead of his teammate Christian Rasmussen.

Marcus Ericsson was 17th for Andretti Global, while Tom Blomqvist was 18th, just ahead of Theo Pourchaire. Pietro Fittipaldi rounded out the top twenty. Pato O’Ward who led the way in the opening session on Friday was 21st fastest just ahead of Linus Lundqvist.

Nolan Siegel was 24th just ahead of his teammate Jack Harvey in the No.18 INVST Honda while Kyffin Simpson was 25th. Sting Ray Robb was 26th just ahead of his AJ Foyt Racing teammate Santino Ferrucci who stopped on track.
