AJ Foyt Racing’s Santino Ferrucci in the No.14 Sexton Properties Chevrolet endured a tough Sonsio Grand Prix of Indianapolis on the IMS road course. Having started the race from 16th place, Ferrucci, who went into the race inside the top ten in the championship, suffered a mechanical issue and was forced to retire early.

Following his early exit from the race, Ferrcci said that the team decided to retire early with the opening practice for the 108th running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge underway on Tuesday.

Sting Ray Robb ended the race on the 22nd after starting the race on the 27th.
