The Arrow McLaren NTT IndyCar Series team announced on Monday that self-storage company SmartStop has joined the team and will serve as the primary sponsor to Felix Rosenqvist, who will drive the No.6 SmartStop Chevrolet for three NTT IndyCar Series races this season starting with the GMR Grand Prix of Indianapolis on May 13 on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course also at the Honda Indy Toronto in July and at the Grand Prix of Portland later in the season.
Speaking about the livery and partnership, Felix Rosenqvist commented saying:
Even before the season kickoff, SmartStop has been great to work with and has shown a lot of support for the team and for me. The car looks amazing, and I’m excited to put the No. 6 SmartStop Arrow McLaren Chevrolet to the test at the Indy GP, Toronto and Portland.
