Paretta Autosport’s Simona De Silvestro in the No.16 KiwiCo Chevrolet says that there is really a lot going on as she will roll off from 27th place in the Sonsio Grand Prix of Road America after setting a qualifying time of 01:48.1033s and speaking following the action the Swiss driver commented saying:
There is really a lot going on right now but we keep chipping away. Tomorrow is quite a long race, and we need to finish it and get it under our belt. I think we’ve learned this weekend, and me as well, just getting used to how quick an INDYCAR is and how it brakes. There’s a lot in my driving that I need to adjust and adapt to use the potential that there is.
Team owner and Team Principal of Paretta Autosport, Beth Paretta commented saying:
It was a tough session at the end having to serve the penalty. We lost a bit of time to be able to get her a couple of laps on reds but we are making progress with getting her comfortable in the car and reacclimated to INDYCAR racing. We are looking forward to tomorrow’s race. We are grateful to KiwiCo, Winnebago and The Henry Ford Museum for getting us back on track this season. It certainly wouldn’t have been possible without their support.
