Chip Ganassi Racing’s Alex Palou in the No.10 Journie Rewards Honda came from 15th place on the grid at the Honda Indy Toronto to finish the race in second place, and speaking following the race, he said that they were able to make it happen despite the early contact with Helio Castroneves.

It was Palou’s sixth podium finish of the season and as a result, takes a 117-point in the championship over his teammate Scott Dixon heading into the doubleheader at Iowa next weekend where double points will be on offer.

Speaking following the action, Palou said that the strategy from the No.10 team was perfect, which has helped him to extend his lead in the championship over Dixon.

While it is still possible that Alex Palou can be caught in the championship, it is unlikely given the form the No.10 crew and Alex Palou have been in this season, and they have shown incredible consistency.

Palou and the No.10 team have scored six podium finishes in ten races.
